Meet Vice-Mayor Holli
Friends:
I am excited to announce that I am running for re-election to the Tiburon Town Council.
I chose to announce my re-election on the 104th anniversary of ratification of the 19th Amendment, which gave women the right to vote.
Serving as your Mayor and current Vice-Mayor has been a great honor. I am very proud of all that we have accomplished together.
Together we have
- spearheaded the acquisition of new open space,
- started the effort to bring broadband to Tiburon to lower costs for our residents and improve service,
- built a new library,
- helped revitalize downtown,
- helped develop the Parks Master Plan,
- ensured a balanced budget,
- promoted diversity,
- supported our workers,
- supported more community events and Friday Nights on Main,
- Proposed the "Tiburon Trolley" to reduce traffic along Tiburon Boulevard, and
- prevented toxic chemicals from being sprayed in our parks/playgrounds.
I am known as an elected official who gets things done, and my door is always open. I will collaborate with you to preserve our amazing home, Tiburon. I humbly ask for your support to finish the job.
I want to work with you to keep our downtown vibrant, continue my work as Chair of the Diversity Inclusion Task Force, preserve our magnificent open space, reduce traffic along Tiburon Boulevard, keep Tiburon fiscally sound, protect the environment, combat climate change, and ensure good emergency preparedness and housing policies.
I started an effort to bring broadband to Tiburon to lower costs and improve service for our residents. I have proposed the Tiburon Trolley, an open-air, all-electric trolley to reduce traffic along Tiburon Boulevard. I ensured our Town stopped spraying harmful pesticides and herbicides in our parks and playgrounds. I’m proud of what we accomplished on behalf of Tiburon residents. Our future here in Tiburon is very optimistic.
Join me as we continue to move Tiburon forward. I would be honored by your support and vote for my re-election. I will always work in Tiburon’s best interests and be transparent in my decision-making.
Vice-Mayor Holli P. Thier, J.D.
